Cash Donations

For some, the simpest way to be a part of SALT International is to make a cash donation. Very soon, we will be able to accept donations online through the services of Paypal. (You will not need to have a Paypal account in order to make a donation in this manner.) For now, the best way to donate money is by sending a check directly to:

Equipment Donations

Occasionally we put together a shipment of processing equipment, building materials, tools, and supplies. We are always in need of new or used equipment. A tax-deductible receipt can be issued for the value of donated equipment.

The kind of equipment we are always looking for is:

• Extruders (single screw)
• Expelling equipment
• Farm bins
• Bin fans
• False floors for bins
• Tools of any kind
• Shovels
• Grinder/Mixer
• Elevators
• Weigh buggies
• Livestock equipment
• 20', 25', 30', and 40' grain augers
• Rotary grain cleaners
• Old corn shellers
• Good used lumber
• New lumber
• Steel fence posts
• Barbed wire, woven wire
• Sheets of steel
• Angle iron

Equipment-For-Cash

Even if we do not need the particular equipment that you may have to donate, it is possible that SALT International would be able to take the equipment and sell it in order to generate cash for development projects. A fair market tax donation receipt will be given for all donated items.

Commodity Donations

It is very convenient for farmers to donate grain to SALT International. Such a donation brings other economic benefits to the farmer, beyond simply the tax receipt. Please call for details.

Stateside Work Projects

SALT International frequently organizes stateside work days. These generally involve tearing down farm bins, refurbishing used equipment, and loading containers for shipment. We can help organize a work day for your organization.

Field Projects

We are always open to volunteers to go overseas and donate their skills. The following talents are always needed:
