In 2015, SALT began a dynamic new partnership in the Philippines with International Care Ministries (ICM), an organization serving the ultra-poor nationwide through local churches. ICM has given SALT fifteen dedicated trainers who will train hundreds of pastors over the next two years. Once a quarter, SALT trainers provide new training to the ICM trainers who then spend the next few months distributing this transferrable teaching to local pastors.
With the assistance of ICM research staff, SALT hopes to understand the impact that SALT training has on pastors, congregations, and communities at this end of this two year partnership.
